The Crossing of America July 10, 2011

Below are some of the comments we received from the many people who helped make this event an unbelievable success:

Hello from the United States Navy,

Once again, thank you all for including us in this wonderful event.
You guys have done us and our Navy great. It is the people like you all that keep us going on the long distant nights away from family and friends for months at a time. You guys, in my eyes, truly appreciate the fact that our freedom comes at a price far beyond what money can buy. Thank you for all of your continued support and community awareness. You are the reason we are able to continue to fight the good fight without reservation. If there is anything that we can do for any of you, feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Jim, you did a wonderful job hosting this event.  I think everyone was touched by the Gold Star families and wounded warriers.  I know how much work went into the day and I'd just like to pass along my thanks to you for a job well done.  Dan said it was really neat when they drove into the dealership and all the people were waving their flags.  It was a beautiful sight and we should be thankful that at least there are a number of people who really care about our country and our military.
Dan put his pictures on Facebook and received a lot of comments about the day.

Jim,

Thank you for such a wonderful day! We appreciate the time you and your business put into honoring our fallen family members and helping us keep their memory alive. The procession was beautiful and my family and I really enjoyed our time. Seeing all the people waving flags as we pulled in was so neat. I took my mom and dad on the helicopter ride and we had a blast! It was great meeting you. Please let us know if you host any other special events in the future.

Jim,

Just wanted to say "thank you" for allowing us to participate in today's event.  You and your staff did a fabulous job and we really enjoyed the activities, food and mixing with the public.  It was a great tribute to our wounded warriors and Gold Star Parents.  I hope you get the recognition you deserve for hosting the event.

We had to leave at 1:30 due to other commitments.  Today was also our quarterly meeting of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs (MODD) which started at 2:00 over on Alba Road.  Yes, it's always on Sunday...I don't know why.

Thank you again and keep us in mind for any future events.

Jim:

Today was very nice and we had the opportunity to network a lot with other patriots.  Thanks for all your hard work coordinating and staging this patriotic event ... it was an overwhelming success.

Jim ?

Congratulations to you and your team on having such a great event yesterday.  Very moving.  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Northwest Dodge; sorry I didn't get to say hello.  Talk about an organized event and the fire truck certainly provided an impressive back-drop!

We took some great photos and will be posting them on our web site and as well as inserting the story/photos in our semi-annual newsletter which will be released in August.

Paula and I look forward to visiting with you soon.

Best regards,

Mary Evans

Good morning Jim!!
I hope you are getting to take off and rest today after what you pulled off yesterday!  I can not thank you enough for what you put together yesterday.  God is going to bless you for that, I just know it.  I'm sorry I didn't stick around long.  I don't take heat well and I was already wilting.  Thank you, though for including me and Zachary.  I wanted to share but I didn't know how long it would be before I could share and I didn't let you know ahead of time that I wanted to.  It was  AWESOME!!!!

Can I get David Bailiff's email address from you, please?  I rode in the Jeep with him and his 14 year old son.  His son is the most incredible kid.  He said something really profound and I want to tell his dad what a great kid he is.

Again, Jim, God bless you for what you did and are doing for soldiers and their families everywhere.

Love in Christ Jesus,

Jim,
I was there with my daughters art car "Americar" yesterday.
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for all that you did.
It was such a wonderful and touching day and I am so thankful that we could be part of it.
My grandaughter and I had tears many times thoughout the day.

Thanks again.
