I had been trying to get a new car since November of 2012 but was unable to at that time. I came in on Saturday without much expectations of getting a new car but OH WAS I WRONG. Reese ensured that I didn't leave without a new set of keys. He worked with the finance person to get me a great deal and it was well worth the wait (which wasn't very long). I really appreciate the phenomenal service that was provided not only by him but by the women in the "wrap up department". Thanks for your email. Overall, this was the best car-buying experience I ever had. I have been looking at Wranglers for several months, and along the way decided on exactly what I wanted (color, options, etc.). I found the one I eventually purchased on your web site and, through the web site, made an inquiry.
Within minutes, I received a confirmation indicating I would hear from someone, which I did (Jeff Taylor) within about half an hour.
In the course of the next two days, Jeff communicated very clearly and respectfully with me while I was also negotiating with two San Antonio dealers. He stayed present, but did not smother or pressure me. We communicated mostly by text, and some by phone, in a way that was very comfortable for me. Jeff was extremely professional, as was your entire staff including Linda who thoroughly acquainted me with my new vehicle. The closing meeting with your business manager was easy.
The one fly in the ointment was that just prior to our orientation by Linda, your photographer backed another vehicle into mine, resulting in damage to the front bumper. Jeff and a manager (whose name I didn't snag, but who was also very professional) saw to it, without hesitation, that my bumper was replaced before I headed back home to San Antonio, and while that took a couple of hours I'd rather not have taken, the important thing is they made it right. Jeff took good care of us during that time, keeping me posted and driving us to a nearby restaurant so we could eat while the repair was being made.
As for your photographer, my clear impression was that he was hurried and careless. He seemed rather annoyed that it was an issue, but eventually offered me what came across to me as an obligatory, less-than-sincere apology. I'm thinking you might keep your eye out for a replacement whose demeanor is consistent with your otherwise pretty-perfect culture.
In summary, Jim, I am extremely impressed with that culture, which I wouldn't hesitate to describe to a prospective customer as professional, responsive, price-competitive, friendly, thorough, and customer-oriented. My congratulations to you, and your fellow leaders, on creating and maintaining such an impressive environment. I cannot say enough great things about the service, from my salesman Jerold Jones and then Feras Maayah the sales manager. I have purchased three Jeeps at another dealership locally, but I was so impressed with the staff at NW willingness to help me and especially their patience while I contemplated spending so much money again for an extended time.
I told them what I wanted and instead of fitting my new Jeep with something more expensive they actually gave me options that were less expensive, yet gave the look I wanted!
Even at the end once I made it to Moises in finance I did not feel pressured or like I had been sold a line. Jim - it actually was a good buying experience. There was no 6 - 8 hours of car buying. I think that the whole process took about 3 hours. Every one that I dealt with was very friendly and seemed to want to help make it so.
Briefly, I will tell you how I wound up at your dealership. I was driving on the Beltway when my 2007 Jeep Wrangler engine died. I asked to be towed to the nearest Jeep dealership. I was towed to Northwest Dodge. I dealt with AJ and I must say that he was very helpful and professional.. The jeep required a new engine.

Overall everything went very smoothly. As I purchased the truck on a Saturday, it was very busy. William Thomas had originally walked the parking lot with me the previous Saturday. He showed me literally every Ram 1500 on the lot. With his help describing the various features, I was able to narrow it down to precisely what I wanted. I wasn't ready to purchase at the time and he was great to work with. He knew the truck well and focused on the information I needed rather than just trying to sell me a truck that day. To be clear, if he had pressured me, I would have ended up going to Tomball Dodge as I had already gotten online quotes that were very competitive.
I came back the following Saturday to test drive. William had multiple customers he was taking care of. He worked with Dan Paxton who set me up with the test drive and took care of me the rest of the day. I really appreciate the teamwork because, as a customer, I have no desire to get caught up in who gets credit for the sale.
Dan was very busy as well that day with multiple customers but he kept things moving and I was able to complete the purchase. To be clear again, Dan was absolutely busting his butt for me, several other customers, and most impressive several employees who asked for his help in the middle of the chaos.
I wanted to take the time to compliment both Dan and William. They took great care of me. I should also add that although I didn't finance, the F&I guy went through the process timely and efficiently. I was ready to go drive my truck.

I was told that an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection will take 30 minutes 45 maximum. After an hour and a half I asked if there's an issue with my car. The service rep informed that it's in the shop but hasn't been started yet. The crew will return from lunch in about an hour and that's when they'll start the job. I asked to pull my car and cancel the order they quickly pulled it out. The service manager came out and explained that everyone eats lunch once a day and it's mandatory. He then followed that by saying, "sorry for having to be here dealing with this and that he's going to comp my next visit". I told him that it's not about money or time but about customer service and the lack of it. This is why I now have a business relationship with Northwest Dodge.
Helfman Dodge was terrible in regards to customer service and I was hesitant to do business with another Dodge dealership/service center. When I walked into your location the negative feelings were quickly replaced with comfort and more importantly ? trust. Thank you for having the pride, passion, and drive to be great at your position. I will not do business with another service center but Northwest Dodge. I recently visited Northwest Dodge for the first time last week. I had a recall and some simple services I needed completed. I was greeted by A.J. who was extremely welcoming and helpful. What I liked most about his service is that he kept me in the loop and even called me with some needed services that my truck needed and even when he had bad news on why he couldn't inspect my truck due to the repair guy unhooked my batter, he still called nand told me and was honest about what happened and even volunteered to drive the truck fro me to get it to pass since it was the dealerships's fault. I also was surprised when I picked up my truck to find it washed and his card inside that said thanks for visiting please come back soon for that needed service. I can only say due to his great service I will start using your dealership where in the past I stopped using dealerships due to poor service most of them have. He didn't treat me poorly because I didn't spend a lot on this visit. He is definitely an attribute to your staff and I'm not sure if he is part of your management team but is not he should train people in your industry.

I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, transfer case and front and rear differentials on 12/31. They put the wrong fluid in the transfer case and forgot to put friction modifiers in the differentials. The Jeep was not driveable and got towed to your dealership. I just picked up the Jeep on FRI, with Jiffy Lube paying for these repairs. As you can imagine, January was a month of talking with Jiffy Lube, their insurance company, rental car, and your dealership.
I worked with Matt Randall and am thankful to have connected with him. The moment he heard news from the insurance, etc.- he would contact me. He would even contact me during the lulls to say I wasn't forgotten. Each experience was professional, kind and calming. He is on top of his game.
I'm considering bringing the Jeep to your dealership for everything- even oil changes, going forward due to the pleasant experience I had there, through an unpleasant situation.

I was lining up to purchase a used Jeep from another dealership than Northwest. I stopped by when I saw a similar used model in the lot and thought I would try it to ensure I liked the year and model before going on and purchasing the other.
Please know that your team at Northwest was excellent in working with me right from the start. They quickly overcame my deep suspicion of car sales people through their honesty and sincere interest in ensuring I got what I wanted. They were highly knowledgeable of the advantages/disadvantages of the different choices I was dealing with. They understood when I told them that I had to have overnight to think about the decision; never once pressuring me (a sure deal killer for me). The financial team worked hard to get me very good terms and warranties. Everyone treated me as if I was becoming a family member and not just buying a car. Boy, am I satisfied with the package I wound up with and thankful I didn't go with the other, older vehicle. I attribute all this to your staff at Northwest. I got what I consider a far better deal and far better vehicle than what I was headed towards
Special thanks to Mathew, my sales person for how hard he worked with me and sincerely steered me to the right deal. Rodger on finance for getting such good rates, and Howard (I am not sure if he does anything, but he really spent time with me making me feel part of the family. All great people. When I asked for the general manager, he quickly came to see me and ensure I had the information I needed (hence, this note).
As a matter of background, I have been a professional for over 35 years and worked from Engineering to Sales and Marketing to Management. I purchased at least 12 new cars in my life (not to mention all the new cars deals I walked away from). In comparing all those previous experiences to what I just went through, this was clearly the finest. And trust me, should I have had issues, anyone in screaming distance would have known. Instead, I will be recommending Northwest to anyone I know is looking for a car.

I received your letter in the mail today and you beat us to the punch regarding the service we received at Northwest dodge. We live in south Houston. To be precise we live 2 LIGHTS from our local Chrysler dealer, only 3 miles away from the house. Your probably wondering if this is the case how I received a letter From Northwest dodge which is 42 miles from my house ( Thanks google! )
We purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey from another local dealer in 2010 after we had our son. That was our first mistake. Ever since we have had this vehicle it has been bad issue after issue not only with the vehicle but as well with the dealership. Not to get into the past but can you believe that they actually sold us a vehicle that we were not even allowed to test drive?! Should be illegal, BUT since it was our first car as a married couple and trying to act "grown up" we didn't want to involve any outside party, which was our first mistake but back on topic.
Our Journey's transmission started jerking and having issues, we found out we had a warranty when we went to re-finance the car ( yup, didn't even know we had one, that's right) So i called to get in for a "diagnosis" as they said. 2 1/2 weeks later my car had STILL not been seen. I had appointments which i showed up to and found out someone called in sick, come in later this week, I came and they had no room, they don't take appointments, they are overbooked, yada yada yada I heard it all. I finally called the warranty company frustrated and they put me on hold, spoke to you, and then directed me to speak to Steven Fleckenstine.
And ever since then Me and my husband have been ranting and raving about the service we received at your dealership. My husband spoke with you and you told us to come on down there to get the vehicle diagnosed. On our way I received a call from Steven to let me know that 290 was at a standstill and he offered an alternative route to your dealership. Once we arrived we were met instantly and Steven had Pete from the shop ride with my husband to diagnosis the problem. Once the problem was detected Steven explained the whole process to my husband of what was going to happen from here and 5 minutes later Enterprise was at the dealership to pick us up to get our rental.
Our Journey was in the shop for almost 2 weeks. Within that time frame Steven called my husband Almost every 3 or 4 days to give him updates on the status of what was going on. We were NEVER left in the dark, NEVER had to wonder what was going on, and quite frankly were never concerned because of the service we received at this point. When our vehicle was ready Steven called with our total charges and even explained we could drop the rental car off at the dealership so we only had to make 1 stop.
Your dealership, Your service, and Steven completely changed the way we feel about car dealerships & Dodge.With us having such a bad experience at our local dealer we we just figured all dealerships were like this, but we were blown away by Northwest dodge. Being treated the way we were by your dealership has built a loyal relationship with our family and we even expressed to Steven that we will be bringing our vehicle there to be serviced and when we are in the market for a new car we will be sure to come to you first. Mr. Hatfield, my name is Tim McKeand and yesterday my wife Karen and I purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from your dealership.
Maggie Prokos and Feras Maayah assisted us. We arrived at the dealership on Tuesday afternoon to look at vehicles and we were allowed to take one home overnight to test drive it after a lot of indecision on our part as to colors. We finally made our decision on the color combination on Wednesday and drove home on Thursday evening with our new Jeep, even after getting it delivered to Northwest from Lafayette, LA when Northwest didn't have exactly what we wanted in stock.
I expect that you may occasionally hear complaints in your position but I wanted to be sure that in our case you get some positive feedback. Maggie was very friendly, positive and most importantly she was attentive to our needs and promptly did everything to get the transaction completed in the smoothest manner possible. Feras was also excellent about giving us exactly what we wanted. When he couldn't find factory original black leather for our silver Rubicon, he suggested Katzkin leather which could be installed in the exact color and style that we wanted. He allayed my concerns about Katzkin quality by showing us another vehicle that happened to be on the lot which had the same leather package we were considering. Of course, the transaction pricing was good which is essential, but the way he handled that part of the transaction was much appreciated. There was no complaint or runaround about honoring my Tread Lightly discount (I encountered that at another dealer closer to home, which prompted me to come to Northwest in the first place). And he also gave us a fair price on my trade-in without a lot of negotiation. From start to finish it was the easiest, smoothest and fairest car purchase I have ever made, which I directly attribute to Maggie and Feras.
I will recommend my friends to Maggie and Feras with no reservations, and if the rest of your dealership is staffed with such customer service oriented employees, you truly have a remarkable operation.

Just wanted to write about my great buying experience I had during the purchase of my new Dodge truck. I have bought many vehicles during my life and I must state that this was the most stress free purchase I have ever had. I enjoy purchasing new vehicles, but hate the process. The main reason I am writing this letter is because of the wonder experience to include the process during this purchase.
It started with the warm welcome I received from the General Manager, Jim Hatfield when he saw me in uniform (US Army). He greeted me and welcomed me to his dealership. He took some time to talk about me and thank me for my service. He assured me that I would be well taken care of and that I would have a hassle-free buying experience. That made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease. He then referred me to one of his Sales Representative, Andrew Gillard (Chief), who was very knowledgeable. He took the time to find out what my needs and wants were, and then he pulled the types of vehicles I was interested in to the front parking lot. We test drove each of the vehicles and then allowed me some time to take the vehicles out on my own to really get a feel for the vehicle. Again, a no pressure experience.

My wife Donnah and I made a deal on a beautiful new Town & Country Limited Saturday night; it is our first minivan. As a matter of fact, Donnah and I were impressed with each of the employees we dealt with while at your dealership. Working with Howard Walther was a pleasure and Miguel Garcia also impressed us while completing the financial paperwork to seal the deal on Monday.
We are in our sixties and still value low key bargaining methods, honesty and a no nonsense, but courteous approach to seller/buyer dealings. Fortunately for us, your dealership seems to also place importance on these methods; so, we ended up feeling like we had come to the "right place" Saturday.

I bought my wife a Grand Caravan in Dec '07 from Northwest Dodge, and the experience told me I'd never be back. I knew I'd be buying myself a Wrangler Memorial Weekend, so I started shopping in April. I went to several dealers in the Houston area except NW Dodge, unsuccessfully. Went to a club meeting with the TX4WD Tomball/Conroe chapter, and a Houston Jeeper told me I had to go back to NW Dodge and speak with Jim. "He sponsors our club and the Wounded Warriors". So I went back to NW Dodge, and was pleasantly surprised. They had new owners, a new manager, and a new attitude since my last visit there. I made the deal I wanted, got the Jeep I wanted, and was actually pleased with my new Jeep purchasing experience. I have to thank the TX4WD Tomball/Conroe Chapter and The Houston Jeep People for talking me into going back to NW Dodge. It was low pressure, comfortable, and I saved a couple thousand dollars (Thank You Tread Lightly)! I will be back to get my wife the 20-- Grand Caravan when the time comes.
I have bought many cars in my lifetime and when I find a good salesman, I stay with him. I havefound that salesman at Northwest Dodge and as long as he is there I will continue to return with all my car needs. The service is great and the people there make you feel at home ad you know you are more than a customer, you are part of the family.
Thank you for offering this survey. I have just had one of my best experiences buying a car... EVER!!! Ken was absolutely Perfect to work with. He gave me just enough information to let me make my own decisions and not the 'pushy' salesman I experienced at another dealership. Loved Him. Also the Sales Manager, Sterling was everything you would want in a Manager. With a winning team like these guys, I will definately refer my friends to your location. And on a seperate note. I live in southwest Houston and drove to the 290 location because of these incredible gentlemen.

Jeff Taylor's attitude with a haggling customer was terriffic. he was very understanding, not pushy, but made the deal. I see why he has been the top Salesman for every month this year. Northwest Dodge should really appreciate having Jeff on staff.
